Steven Ross

Steven Ross is a gifted intuitive medium who has developed a nuanced understanding of the astral body integrated with deep study of the yogic system. Through thousands of readings, he has developed a practical framework for human flourishing. His spiritual passion is inspired by the Himalayan yogis and the saints of world religions who experienced higher states of consciousness, and he is a devotee of Paramhansa Yogananda and his practical teachings on Self-realization through raja yoga.
For more than two decades, Steven has immersed himself in the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Mystical Christianity, and the vinyasa krama tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya under Srivatsa Ramaswami. Steven’s down-to-earth, compassionate approach is unassuming, and his mission is to demystify ancient teachings.
Steven was the owner of Eastside Yoga in Austin and a proud part of the Austin yoga community for many years. He now holds a Master’s in Divinity from All Paths Divinity School, serves as a Wellness Specialist and Spiritual Minister at Miraval Resort & Spa, and co-hosts the podcasts The Way to Go and Intuition Radio.

This immersive workshop explores how the resonance of sacred sounds (mantras) can enhance your physical experience of the postures and expand your breath and pranic body to create a holistic experience that nurtures both body and mind. A short lecture on the origins and significance of mantras and how they can be used to focus the mind and elevate your practice will provide a firm foundation for a guided asana practice that creates a seamless flow between breath, mantra, and movement. Gain insights on how to design a personalized practice that integrates asana, pranayama and mantra, supporting your unique spiritual journey towards balance and inner peace.
