About the Retreat
The Texas Yoga Retreat has been bringing together yogis from across Texas and beyond for over 25 years, making it one of the longest-running yoga gatherings in the South. Held each October at the Ancient Yoga Center — a serene ashram nestled in the Texas Hill Country just 20 minutes southwest of downtown Austin — the retreat offers a rare combination of world-class instruction and genuine community. Whether you are brand new to yoga or a seasoned teacher or therapist, you will find a welcoming home here. Our vision is simple: building a caring and inclusive yoga community where everyone belongs.
