John Sanchez

John Sanchez is a personal trainer and certified Bikram Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates instructor based in Austin, Texas. A transformative experience in his first Bikram class in 2013 led him to become a full-time teacher the following year, driven by a desire to share the healing potential he experienced firsthand. In 2025, he founded Fitness In Reach — built on the belief that simple, effective methods are the foundation of lasting wellness. John relocated to Texas from New York, where he taught and practiced for many years, and now teaches live at PURE Yoga in Austin, where he describes teaching from a place of compassion, passion, and faith in the sequence and his students.

Harmonizing Movement and Sound: Integrating Mantra into Your Practice (IAYT-CE)
This immersive workshop explores how the resonance of sacred sounds (mantras) can enhance your physical experience of the postures and expand your breath and pranic body to create a holistic experience that nurtures both body and mind. A short lecture on the origins and significance of mantras and how they can be used to focus the mind and elevate your practice will provide a firm foundation for a guided asana practice that creates a seamless flow between breath, mantra, and movement. Gain insights on how to design a personalized practice that integrates asana, pranayama and mantra, supporting your unique spiritual journey towards balance and inner peace.
