Joanna Heart is an integrative mental health therapist, clinical supervisor, licensed chemical dependency counselor, and 500-hour registered yoga
teacher with extensive experience in trauma-informed care, behavioral health challenges, and whole-person wellness.

Following her own healing journey after a life-changing car accident, Joanna discovered the transformative power of yoga and now combines that wisdom with her mental health expertise. Her workshops blend somatic practices, mindfulness, breathwork, movement, and therapeutic insight to guide individuals toward self-discovery, nervous system regulation, healing, and authentic transformation.

Whether you are looking to release accumulated stress, reconnect with your inner self, or simply enjoy the serenity of a mindful practice, this breath-centered viniyoga class will foster grounding, release, and renewal, to embrace the natural shift that autumn brings. Our focus will be on cultivating a sense of ease and balance through asana and pranayama as we navigate the transitional energies of the fall season.

Harmonizing Movement and Sound: Integrating Mantra into Your Practice (IAYT-CE)
This immersive workshop explores how the resonance of sacred sounds (mantras) can enhance your physical experience of the postures and expand your breath and pranic body to create a holistic experience that nurtures both body and mind. A short lecture on the origins and significance of mantras and how they can be used to focus the mind and elevate your practice will provide a firm foundation for a guided asana practice that creates a seamless flow between breath, mantra, and movement. Gain insights on how to design a personalized practice that integrates asana, pranayama and mantra, supporting your unique spiritual journey towards balance and inner peace.

All levels, Intensity 7, 80% asana, 10% lecture, 5% pranayama, 5% meditation
