Christina Cohee is a certified yoga therapist whose path into this work began through her own healing journey. After struggling with chronic and mystery illness for over twenty years, Christina discovered yoga therapy — and the combination of yogic tools with principles of neuroplasticity ultimately freed her from more than a dozen chronic conditions.
She holds bachelor’s degrees in Studio Art, Anthropology, and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Business Certificate from UT’s McCombs School of Business. In addition to her yoga therapy certification, she holds credentials in Restorative Yoga and Yoga for 12-Step Recovery, and has had the privilege of assisting Judith Hanson Lasater in restorative yoga teacher trainings.
Christina teaches public classes, sees private clients, mentors yoga and wellness professionals, and serves as Assistant Program Director and faculty member for Practice School of Yoga Therapy in Austin. Her mission is to bridge nervous system science with embodied practice — helping clients befriend their bodies, connect with joy and ease, and live fully from their own wholeness.
