Sonia Doubell

Sonia Doubell is a Yoga Alliance Senior Teacher with over two decades of experience guiding students toward healing, vitality, and deep self-connection. A graduate of the Living Yoga Program, she has trained extensively in Anusara Yoga, Yin Yoga, Kundalini Activation, and Prenatal Yoga, complemented by studies in NLP, Acupressure, Plant-Based Nutrition, and Hypnobirthing.
Sonia is the founder of Moving Energy Yoga — a soulful, feminine approach to practice that blends movement, breath, and ancient wisdom to restore energy and radiance from the inside out. Her work has been featured internationally on Gaia, FMTV, Virgin TV, and Body in Balance TV.
In addition to her live teaching, Sonia offers Total Body Yoga, an online program designed to help women feel stronger, more flexible, and more deeply connected to themselves. Her teaching is known for its warmth, depth, and ability to meet students exactly where they are — making her classes as nourishing for beginners as they are transformative for experienced practitioners.

Arrive in Your Body: A Gentle Moving Energy Yoga Practice
A soft, grounding opening practice to help you arrive fully in your body after travel and transition into retreat mode. Through gentle movement, breath awareness, pulsing, stretching, and longer-held shapes, this class releases travel tension, calms the nervous system, and awakens a feeling of spaciousness from the inside out. Accessible, soothing, and deeply embodied — a perfect first practice for the weekend.

Return to Radiance: A Moving Energy & Coherence Activation Practice
A 90-minute embodied morning practice designed to awaken energy, release stiffness, and bring your whole system into a state of coherence. Through the signature language of Moving Energy Yoga — pulsing, wriggling, breath, sound, mindful movement, longer-held shapes, and gentle core activation — you’ll be invited to coax energy through the body rather than push or perform. The movement is followed by a guided coherence activation: a deeply restful inner practice supporting nervous system regulation, clarity, and integration, closing with short journaling and optional sharing.

Your Body Knows the Way: Learn to Listen, Let It Lead
A final Moving Energy Yoga practice designed to help you deepen the conversation with your own body and leave with simple tools for daily life. So often we move from habit or external instruction without realizing how much the body is already communicating. Here, you’ll slow down, listen through sensation, and respond with breath, pulsing, wriggling, softening, spinal release, and gentle core activation — learning a simple take-home method: pause, listen, breathe, move, soften, integrate.
Intensity of Practice: 4 – All Levels
10% Discussion, 70% Asana/Movement, 5% Pranayama, 15% Other (guided relaxation/integration/take-home practice)
