Michelle Young is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and E-RYT 500 with a M.Ed in Curriculum Development. Michelle continues to deepen her practice through advanced studies in Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Spiritual Coaching, Metaphysic and Tantra Yoga. Michelle serves as a Yoga Therapist in behavioral healthcare, eating recovery, and cardiac rehab. She currently owns and operates My Vinyasa Practice, a donation based yoga studio in Austin, TX and an online yoga school serving over 60,000 students worldwide. She considers Monique Lonner, Shanti Kelley, Nischala Joy Devi, Richard Miller, and Leslie Kaminoff to have been her most influential teachers.

Suitable for practitioners of all levels, this class provides an in-depth exploration of the mechanisms linking sensations to beliefs, equipping students with techniques to broaden their awareness and deepen their practice.

Discover the integral role of the body in somatic healing and its application in facilitating integration and holistic wellness for clients. This lecture will elucidate the mechanisms underlying somatic healing techniques, demonstrating how they engage both the subtle and gross mind to unlock elevated states of consciousness. Participants will gain insights into applying these techniques in a trauma-informed manner, enhancing overall well-being for their clients.
