Sammis, Kelli<br> E-RYT-500, YACEP

Dr. Kelli Sammis holds an E-RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance & a Doctorate in Education from The University of Louisiana at Monroe. She spent 28 years serving in a variety roles in public education & during her last years before retiring, she had the countless opportunities to bring all parts of the 8-limbed path to thousands of public educators and students of all ages. She’s been on the yogic path for more than 16 years, but it was while living in Denmark in 2011 that she was finally introduced to yoga as a lifestyle that is grounded in the teachings of the Yamas Niyamas, rather than it being a mere physical fitness routine.
Kelli opened The Bridge Yoga in Bryan/College Station in 2021 to provide her community a place where all who enter feel that they BELONG. Her mission is to help others see that yoga & the tools it provides are truly for ALL people. She is committed to providing a studio space that is inclusive and accessible to everyone so that she and her instructor team can support others along the path to falling in love with their lives (Santosha). She is currently working toward an advanced Masters of Wisdom & Meditation Teacher Training with Davidji. She plans to use these teachings and experiences to bring peace and light to the Bryan/College Station community, not only because it’s necessary, but because this is the home where her two grandchildren, Corrie & Cole, live. As their MoMo, she wants to do all she can to ensure that where they live, where they go to school, and where they grow up is cared for by conscious and compassionate adults.
