Dustin Turner is a Austin Tx based E-RYT 500. Dustin was first certified in 2005, after several years of study and practice with acclaimed teachers, such as Gabriel Halpern, Manouso Manos, Judith Lassiter &, Laurie Blakeney along with many others. Dustin has over 21000 hrs, been the lead teacher of yoga teacher programs, organized/taught international yoga retreats, is a continuing education provider through Yoga Alliance and, mentors many new teachers. His teaching style is structured to honor the rich traditions of the past with a emphasis on how it can help each of us with modern day life experiences with humor and joy.

Safe Inversions
Yoga claims that inversions give vitality, clarity, and tranquility. Special attention will be given to head stand and shoulder stand, so beginners can learn how to approach these poses with prop sequencing that will help avoid glitches. We will also teach recovery poses to undo incorrect habits of practice.

Over Done and Under Taught
With over twelve hundred basic poses and over a million variations, it is easy to gloss over something as we excitedly explore all that the tradition has to offer us. But after our first months, we learn that each pose has deep work and alignment built into it that it can change our whole perception of the practice. In this class, we will look at “common” poses that, if we slow down and get into the subtle workings of, we will find vast amounts of yoga to explore as we shape the self.
