Testimonials

"In my visit to the Texas Yoga Retreat... I experienced a welcome and an immediate sense of community.  This retreat offers an opportunity for Texas yogins, new and experienced, to connect at a deeper level with each other and to reconnect with Self."
~ Amy Weintraub, Yoga for Depression, California

“Although I did not know other participants at the retreat, soon I felt that wonderful feeling of 'belonging'…. I had the opportunity to learn about different types of yoga, about Trance Dance (I loved it), to meet Robert Boustany, for whom I developed great admiration. He showed us how to use effortless effort while practicing yoga. I also took classes in Yoga Nidra, Qigong, free form yoga, mantra, and more.… We could never go wrong when choosing a class.
~ Sueli Rocha-Rojas, Yoga Teacher

"... the best thing about it is that I am still experiencing some profound peace that I hope stays with me forever."
~ Carla Daws, Participant

"Love the passionate teachers, being with like-minded folks, food, wide variety of topics and styles of yoga."
~ Participant

"The sense of community and being able to do yoga all day and learn what’s not taught in regular classes."
~ Participant

As with the previous Nine Texas Yoga Retreats, our focus remains on building community. We hope you will see this as an opportunity not only to study with great yoga teachers from a variety of traditions, but also as an opportunity to make new connections and friendships, and strengthen and renew old ones.

Yoga Alliance CEU's (continuing education credits) are available for Yoga Teachers who attend the retreat.
